Asahi India Glass Ltd share price ticked higher by 0.37% to Rs 899.4 after the company's net profit rose by 12.42% to Rs 149.08 crore, while revenue from operations slightly gained 5.02% to Rs 1392.07 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Auto Components & Equipments industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 11.06 lakh crore, rising 7.59%. It has inched up 2.63% over last one week and moving up by 10.06% in last one month while the market capitalization of Asahi India Glass Ltd has marginally improved by 2.64% and 6.31% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Asahi India Glass Ltd stood at Rs 202.65 crore in Q2 FY26, surging by 167.45% year-on-year, and heading higher 12.82% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 319 crore, expanding by 75.72% YoY and improving 14.83% sequentially. Total expenses posted a minor rise of 2.40% to Rs 1169.53 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 360.96 crore, growing marginally by 7.46% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 137.72 crore, easing 6.13% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations tick up 5.37% to Rs 4551.74 crore, while net profit registered a growth of 13% to Rs 367.3 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA soared by 74262% to Rs 734.14 crore, and PBT rose 15.86% to Rs 512.77 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 719.97 crore in FY26, as against Rs 653.34 crore in FY25. Asahi India Glass Ltd jumped 8.32% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 3.20% during the same period.
